The aisle des Cygnes is a road in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.
Situation and access: The aisle of Swans is located on the island of Swans, an artificial island on the Seine, between the 15th and 16th arrondissements. It is administratively attached to the 15th arrondissement. It is served by line 6 at Bir-Hakeim station.
Origin of name: This route is named after the vicinity of the former Swan Island, which was reunited at Champ-de-Mars in the late eighteenth century.
History: A prefectoral decree of 18 May 1878 authorized the City of Paris to establish an alley planted, the maintenance of which is at its charge, on the platform of the dam of Grenelle, created in 1825 by the Société concessionaire du pont de Grenelle.
