Château d'Alleuze

The castle of Alleuze is a former medieval castle, rebuilt and restored several times and dating back to the 12th century, which stands in the French commune of Alleuze in the department of Cantal, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This building is now in ruins and maintained in this state. It is accompanied by the chapel Saint-Illide, rebuilt in the 15th century. The remains of the castle are listed as historical monuments by order of 9 March 1927.
