Aquis Segeste, according to the mention of the table de Puisinger, is an ancient secondary agglomeration located on the territory of the French commune of Sceaux-du-Gâtinais in the department of Loiret (region Centre-Val de Loire). In recent scientific publications, the name of the site is often corrected in Aquae Segetae, forms more accurate in terms of spelling and grammar but not attested in ancient sources. The only element of the archaeological site whose remains are visible in elevation in the 21st century is the southern part of a vast source sanctuary of the High Roman Empire developed from a possible pre-existing Gallic place of worship; It consists of a nymphae enclosed in a peribole whose peristyle gallery probably housed warehouses or commercial premises.

In addition to this sanctuary, the monumental setting of the city includes a theatre, two thermal establishments and at least one fanum.
