arboretum de Grignon
The arboretum de Grignon is a French arboretum located in the commune of Tiverval-Grignon, Yvelines department in Île-de-France. With an area of 0.8 hectares, it is located in the area of the former National Higher School of Agronomy of Grignon, now integrated into the Institute of Life Sciences and Industries and the Environment (AgroParisTech). The arboretum includes about 125 species and varieties of trees, including some adult specimens of Cedrus atlantica, Fagus sylvatica var.
"Tortuosa", Ginkgo biloba, Gleditsia triacanthos, Parrotia persica, Pinus nigra subsp. Laricio, Sophora japonica "pendula" and Zelkova carpinifolia. It is closed to the public, however group visits can be arranged upon request.
