The Arboretum de l'Hort de Dieu is an arboretum located on the southern side of Mount Aigoual, in the commune of Val-d'Aigoual (formerly Valleraugue), on the border of the departments of Gard and Lozère in France. The Hort of God means "garden of God" and, from the Renaissance, this place is prized by botanists who come to herborize rare species, adapted to the environmental environment of the Aigoual. From the mid-19th century it became a place of experimentation to study the adaptation of gasoline to the environmental conditions of the Aigoual.
