Bullring of Dax

The Dax arenas, located in the park Theodore-Denis in Dax, were built in 1913. Corridas and the Grand Concours Landes are organized on the occasion of the Dax holidays (six days around 15 August until 2012, five days from 2013) and the Toros y Salsa festival, the second weekend in September. They are among the seven first-class French arenas, the others being Bayonne, Mont-de-Marsan, Vic-Fezensac, Nimes, Béziers and Arles.
