Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Quelven

The Notre-Dame de Quelven Chapel is a Marian shrine in the parish of Guern. It became an important pilgrimage site and was rebuilt at the end of the 15th century. The monumentality of this building is explained by the Marian pardon of the Assumption which takes place there on August 15th, the third forgiveness in tributary in the Morbihan after those of Sainte-Anne-d'Auray and Notre-Dame du Roncier.
