Bornes milliaires de Locmeltro

The columns of Locmeltro, sometimes known as Miles, are monoliths installed in the parish enclosure of the chapel Saint-Meldéoc, on the commune of Guern, in Morbihan (France). These three stones, two of which would form a single column, are considered unsure by archaeologists to be a use of Roman miles or protohistoric steles. They were Christianized, at the latest in the mid-19th century, but perhaps much earlier for the smallest transformed into a benign.
