The baptismal fonts of the church Saint-Sauveur du Faou, a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in France, were created in the 16th century. Stone baptismal fonts have since 1906 been classified as historical monuments as objects. The inscription recalling the four rivers of the earthly paradise on phylacteries running around the tank: Gihon, Pishon, Tiger and Euphrates. The stone preserves traces of polychromy, it is carved on all sides, with the exception of a part hammered during the Revolution to erase coats of arms.
