Point 110 Old Military Cemetery, Fricourt (Old Military Cemetery Point 110, Fricourt) is a First World War military cemetery in the municipality of Fricourt, Somme department, northeast of Amiens.
Location: This cemetery is located about 800 m south of the village following an agricultural road extending the Rue d'En-Bas. Point 110 New Military Cemetery, Fricourt is located 200 metres south.
The village of Fricourt was taken by the 17th division on 2 July 1916, 2nd day of the Battle of the Somme, but the southern part of the commune, in which the cemetery was located, was already in the hands of the allies. The former military cemetery of point 110 was started by French troops in February 1915 and continued by the 1st Dorsets and other Commonwealth units from August 1915 to September 1916. The cemetery was named after the contour on the map; Before September 1916, his name was King George's Hill. This cemetery contains 100 Commonwealth graves of the First World War, three of which are unidentified.
