About

The baptismal fonts of Saint-Nicolas church in Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines, a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region of France, were created in 1781. Baptismal fonts are classified as historical monuments as objects on 17 March 1971. These velvety marble (pink) fonts have a tank decorated with godrons and closed by a double copper leaf lid on wood core.

The year that is engraved here makes it possible to date the facts. The lid is a rarely preserved element.
