The Carton Voyageur (formerly the Cartopole) is a municipal museum dedicated to the postcard, located in Baud, Morbihan department, Brittany. Labelled Musée de France since 2017, it presents France's largest public heritage fund in this area with a collection of more than 120,000 postcards. Illustrating all aspects of daily life in Brittany, France and abroad, the collections cover the 20th and 21st centuries, with a preference for the years 1900-1920.
It includes a collection of postcards belonging to folklorist Bernard de Parades, another from publisher Hamonic and the preparatory drawings of Charles Homualk, given by him. The museum was created in June 1996 to facilitate the valorisation of a first purchase of old postcards on historical Brittany. Faced with growing collections, he moved in 2015 to invest larger premises.
On this occasion he abandoned the name of Cartopole for Le Carton voyageur.
