Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul-et-Saint-André Cathedral of Saint-Claude in the Jura department was elevated to the rank of cathedral in 1742. It is often called simply "Saint Peter's Cathedral". It was founded as Saint-Oyend Abbey in the 14th century.

Saint-Claude Cathedral

This monument has been classified as historical monuments since 30 October 1906. In 1952 it was elevated to the rank of minor basilica by Pope Pius XII. A commemorative plaque keeps the memory of this event at the entrance to the cathedral.
