chapelle Notre-Dame de Kerdévot
Our Lady of Kerdevot () is a Catholic church in the commune of Ergue-Gabéric, Brittany. Monument whose date of foundation is not known, it is re-educated in the fifteenth century in devotion to the Blessed Virgin, after an epidemic of plague ravaged the region. In Gothic style, it takes place in an enclosure comprising a 16th century calvary and an 18th century sacristy.
A Gothic-style fountain renowned for treating fever and catarrh is 300 m from the enclosure. The architectural ensemble is a remarkable example of the period of reconstruction following the Brittany War of Succession and the Breton Golden Age of the 15th and 16th centuries. The enclosure has been listed as a historic monument since May 9, 1914.
The chapel is also renowned for its statuary, including its late 15th century Flemish altarpiece, and its forgiveness held every year on the second Sunday of September.
