Roman road
chaussée romaine de Reims à Cologne
The Roman roadway from Reims to Cologne - or rather the Roman Way from Reims to Cologne is a great route of Roman communication dating back to the half of the first century C.E., when Emperor Claude organized the region for the conquest of England and the defense of the limes of Germania. The route was drawn shortly after the Roman invasion (1st half of the 1st century) from paths taken by the Celts.
