chemin de fer du Haut-Rhône
The Haut-Rhône railway is a narrow French tourist railway located in the Rhône valley, upstream of Lyon on the territory of the municipalities of Montalieu-Vercieu and Porcieu-Amblagnieu, in the department of Isère. This region is called the Upper Dauphinian Rhone. The name of this tourist train follows that of an old tramway established on normal track, which runs between Sault-Brénaz and Brégnier-Cordon, from 1911 to 1939, near but on the opposite bank of the Rhône, in the neighbouring department of Ain.
