château d'Allinges-Vieux
The château d'Allinges-Vieux or Château-Vieux is a former castle, from the 10th century, the centre of a senate floor of the Faucigny, whose ruins stand, in the Chablais, on the commune of Allinges in the department of Haute-Savoie, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The ruins share the eminence of a hill, called the "butt of castles", with those of Allinges-Neuf, from which they are only 150 meters away. The castle also had a castral village surrounded by walls.
