Château Ganne

Château Ganne is a former castle of the 11th and 12th centuries whose remains stand on the territory of the French commune of La Pommeraye, in the Calvados department, in the Normandy region. Acquired by the Calvados General Council in 2003, Ganne Castle is the subject of archaeological excavations and is part of a multidisciplinary study project led by the General Council. The name Ganne Castle was attributed to him in the 18th century. He used to be called the Pommeraye castle.
