The Château d'Arcelot is located in the commune of Arceau, in the French department of the Côte d'Or, canton of Mirebeau sur Bèze. It has been listed as a historical monument since 22 September 1948. and 30 April 1999 for the gardens.

History: The first buildings were the work of Philibert I Verchère, between 1711 and 1720: it was a house made up of two pavilions. The present castle is designed at the request of Philibert II, adviser to the Parliament of Burgundy and grandson of the 1st. Directed by architect Thomas Dumorey between 1761 and 1764, it is the first neoclassical castle built in Burgundy. The castle remained in the direct line of the builder until 1870, when Guillaume Verchère, the last of the line, died without a child. He bequeathed the castle to his nephew, Ernest de Carrelet de Loisy. In the 21st century, the castle is still owned by the Carrelet de Loisy d'Arcelot family.
