château de Chantérac
Chantérac Castle is an 18th century castle built on an older base, located in Chanterac in the French department of Dordogne. It has been partially listed in the Historical Monuments since 1959. Relatively sheltered within a forested area, the castle was spared by the depredations, especially during the French Revolution[desired ref.]. Sold as a national property at the time, the Château de Chantérac is currently inhabited by the descendants of the family of La Bourdonnaye-Blossac, which has owned it for several generations.
