About

The castle of Courcy is a former castle of the late 11th century, rebuilt in the 13th or 14th century, today in ruins, whose remains stand on the territory of the French commune of Courcy, in the south of the department of Calvados, in the Normandy region. The former castle, characteristic of military architecture of the 12th – 13th centuries, is in danger because of the absence of protective measures, even though it is listed as historical monuments.
