château de La Voulte
The castle of La Voulte is a medieval castle of Haute-Auvergne overlooking the Authre, and one of the remarkable monuments of Marmanhac, auvergnat village of Cantal. It has been a registered site of the Cantal department since 1944. It has been listed in full Historic Monument since 1993. The park of the castle was the subject of a notice as part of the pre-inventory of the remarkable Parks and Gardens in 1992.
Description: The Château de La Voulte is a building typical of 15th century regional architecture. Built entirely in volcanic tuff and covered with lauze, it includes:
