Château de Meillonnas

The castle of Meillonnas is a former 14th century castle, several times redesigned, center of the seigneury of Meillonas, which stands on the commune of Meillonnas in the department of Ain in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The castle, partly owned by the commune, is not open to the public, but it is possible for specialists to visit it. The castle in its entirety and the parcels on which it is located, as well as the adjacent parcels and the former place known as "the pit meadow" are listed as historical monuments by order of 4 July 2007.
