château de Rumilly
Rumilly Castle (castrum Rumilliaci in Albanesio) was an ancient castle probably dating from the 10th century, of which no vestiges remained, which stood in the French commune of Rumilly, in the department of Haute-Savoie in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It forms with the village a stronghold of major importance on the border of the county of Geneva, until the dismantling of its fortifications in the early seventeenth century.
