château de Saint-Brisson
Château de Saint-Brisson is a castle in the commune of Saint-Brisson-sur-Loire in the Loiret department of central France. At the edge of the Berry and at the gates of the Orléanais, it overlooks the left bank of the major bed of the Loire, dried up during the opening of the lateral canal to the Loire at the end of the 19th century in the neighbouring commune of Saint-Firmin-sur-Loire. The Château de Saint-Brisson is the castle of the Loire located the most upstream on the river.
