château de Sennecey-le-Grand
The castle of Sennecey-le-Grand, largely disappeared, is located in the commune of Sennecey-le-Grand in Saône-et-Loire, on a flat plot to the south of the village. The vast castle was demolished in 1824 by the commune to build a church. What remains of the castle has been listed as historical monuments since 23 June 1937. The esplanade, in addition, became a classified site since April 12, 1938.
