The Château de La Barben is a former castle, dating back to the 11th century, rebuilt in the 17th and 20th centuries, which stands on the French commune of La Barben in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, near Salon-de-Provence. The castle is classified as historical monuments by order of 21 December 1984. Repurchased in 2019, it is home to the Rocher Mistral, a park on the theme of Provence.

History: The first mention to the barbentum castrum dates from 1064 in the cartular of the Abbey Saint-Victor of Marseille. The date of construction of the castle, probably prior to the year 1000, is unknown. It was owned by the family of Pontevès. In the 15th century, it belonged to King René; In 1474 he sold it to John II of Forbin, brother of Palamede de Forbin, dit le Grand, who was the craftsman of the meeting of Provence to the Crown of France in 1482.
