Château du Sauvement

The Château du Sauvement is a former castle, dating back to the 13th century, which stands on the slope of the commune of Ciry-le-Noble, in the department of Saône-et-Loire, in the region Burgundy-Franche-Comté. In the Middle Ages it is the center of one of the six chestnuts in Charolais County. The castle is the subject of a partial inscription in respect of historical monuments by order of 27 May 1991. The registration order of 23 March 2026 replaces the previous registration order.
