château d'Aubigny
The Château d'Aubigny is located on the former municipality of Moselle d'Aubigny attached to the municipality of Coincy after the Revolution. The castle of Aubigny, with its courtyard and adjacent outbuildings, as well as the garden, with its fence walls and gates, has been listed as historic monuments since 30 July 1993.
History: The castle of Aubigny and its farm are mentioned in the archives from the beginning of the 15th century. The seigneury of Aubigny was held between 1404 and 1701 by the families of Vy and Roucel. In 1682 Jean-Nicolas de Roucel, in his admission and count presented to the royal chamber of Metz, specified that he owned a strong house there. The castle was devastated by the "Swedes" in 1630 during the Thirty Years' War and rebuilt in the 18th century. In the 18th century, the seigneury passed to the Clinchant families of Aubigny and Baignault, then to the family Le Duchat d'Aubigny, who still owned the castle at the beginning of the 19th century. In 1814, the family of Belchamps inherited the castle (in exchange with the estate of the Grange-aux-Bois).
