From the former Prioral Church of Sainte-Marie de Mimizan in the French Department of Landes only part of the western wall of the nave and a square and massive bell tower in brick and alios, covered in chestnut shingles and surmounted by an octagonal arrow. The porch houses a gate built around 1220. This portal is one of the most beautiful sets of medieval sculptures in the Landes.

It was listed as a Historic Monument in 1903. Above the gate, under a broken arch, unfolds a decoration painted on 26 m2 dating from the second half of the 15th century, depicting scenes of the Passion of Christ. The entire building is classified on 1 March 1990.

In 2000, Unesco listed the bell tower as a world heritage site, under the title of Chemins de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle in France.
