conservatoire Citroën
The Citroën Conservatory is a former museum housed in a 6500 m2 building inaugurated in 2001 adjacent to the former PSA factory in Aulnay-sous-Bois. It temporarily closed its doors on 30 June 2024 due to a move. It consists of a total of 370 cars (including the first, the Citroën Type A; the racing cars and the concept cars) and several kilometers of commercial and advertising archives once scattered on the sites of La Ferté-Vidame, the Rennes factory, the Aulnay-sous-Bois factory and in a basement of the rue Vasco-de-Gama, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.
It systematically keeps at least two working copies of each model built by the brand from its origins. Even if the site has to move to Poissy, the conservatory is open to the general public and by appointment. It welcomes approximately 4,300 visitors per year.
It is also open to collectors, Citroën club members, PSA Group staff, journalists and partners such as Michelin or Total, and the public through regular visits of the Departmental Tourism Committee. He lends and exhibits many vehicles in the salons and gatherings of...
