About

The prehistoric site of Coudoulous is located at the confluence of the Lot and the Célé, in the heart of Quercy, on the town of Tour-de-Faure, about thirty kilometers east of Cahors (Lot). It consists of two main prehistoric and paleontological deposits in karst context, Coudoulous I and Coudoulous II, whose cumulative sequences cover the end of the Middle Pleistocene and part of the Upper Pleistocene.
