The Church of the Chains of Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines is a Lutheran church located 81 rue Saint-Louis in Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines. In 1846 it replaced an older church known as the Sur-le-Pré church, which had become too small and was also too far from the city centre, which originally served the German-speaking Lutheran community. She owes her church name to the big chains that closed the yard.
