The David d'Angers Gallery is a museum located in Angers in Maine-et-Loire, in the site of the former Toussaint Abbey. It is dedicated to the works of sculptor David d'Angers, whose name he holds. The collection consists mainly of original plasters which are the preparatory stages for bronze or marble sculpture. The establishment is labeled "Musée de France".

History: Angevin artist Pierre-Jean David d'Angers (1788-1856), a 19th-century sculptor, medallor and cartoonist, produced a large number of works. In 1811, he offered the city three of these rewarded works. He became a famous figure of romanticism in his native region, to whom he donated many works. From 1839, the town of Angers dedicated an exhibition place for him, located for nearly 150 years in the refectory of the Museum of Fine Arts. At the beginning of the 20th century, the museum's largest collection of sculptures was that of David d'Angers, including more than 400 pieces donated by the artist, completed in 1903 by the donation of Mrs. Leferme, born David d'Angers.
