The layr of Saint-Merd-les-Oussines is a funeral sculpture found in the church of Saint-Merd-les-Oussines in Corrèze; this grave carved would, according to the studies devoted to it, be that of the burial of a dignitary of the order of St John of Jerusalem, which dates from the fifteenth century; In the light of the knowledge gathered on this monument, the gissant of Saint-Merd-les-Oussines is the only granite gissant of the 15th century preserved in Limousin, where, out of a total of 27 gissants from the 12th to the 15th century that were not destroyed during the Revolution, 14 granite gissers are known. It was classified as a historical monument by order of 5 September 1969.
