grottes de Labastide
The caves of Labastide, or caves of Laspugue (sometimes written the Aspugue), are located in the commune of Labastide, in the department of Hautes-Pyrénées, Occitanie region, in France. They form a karst-origin set, with a system of emergency loss. The main cave, known as "Croat des Chevaux" or "Croat de Labastide", is an adorned cave dating from the Magdalenian (Superior Paleolithic), famous for its large polychrome horse combined with a notable archeoacoustic effect.
