Le Châtelet de Gourzon is an archaeological site located in Bayard-sur-Marne, in the north of the Haute-Marne, near Fontaines-sur-Marne, between Saint-Dizier and Joinville. It occupies a plateau of about 20 hectares and extends below on the commune of Fontaines-sur-Marne. The plateau, accessible only in two points to the west and east, overlooks the valley of the Marne.

The site has experienced successive occupations, in Neolithic, Bronze Age, then, continuously, from the Iron Age to the High Middle Ages. The Châtelet plateau is currently under forest cover.
