The CEPAC Silo is a Marseille showroom inaugurated in 2011 and located in Euroméditerranée, district of the 2nd arrondissement. It was previously a former industrial building in the city of Marseille. The conversion was designed and carried out by the firm C+T Architecture, associated with the scenography agency Ducks Scéno, the technical studies office SLH Engineering and the Atelier Rouch for acoustic studies.
History: Former cereal silo built in 1924, the Arenc silo was labeled in 2004 heritage of the twentieth century by the Ministry of Culture. It is a rectangular building of more than 16,000 square metres. During the 2000s, it was arranged in two separate volumes: on the one hand, in an office space and on the other hand, in a concert hall, especially in theatre or concerts. This renovation, initiated in 2007, is part of the project to upgrade the Joliette district through the creation of the Euroméditerranée district.
