Lucernaire

Lucernaire, a national art and essay centre, is a cultural centre in Paris, combining theatre, cinema and contemporary photography. The place echoes Montparnasse of the 1920s or 1930s. This cultural centre, located in the heart of the 6th arrondissement of Paris, at 53, rue Notre-Dame-des-Champs, born in a former disused factory, comprises three theatres, three cinemas, an exhibition gallery, a small bookshop, a restaurant and a bar.

Le Lucernaire also organizes concerts, public readings of theatre and poetry, debates on social problems and presentations of works. The Lucernaire seeks to cross the arts, artists, famous or beginners and spectators of these different arts. He wants to remain a popular creative theatre.
