Champlain House was a French museum located in the village of Brouage. The commune of Brouage has been a major national site since 1989. The Marais and the Place fort are high places of tourism in Charente-Maritime.

This remarkable museum was founded on the occasion of the celebration of the 400th anniversary of the founding of Acadia by DuGua de Mons and Samuel Champlain in 1604. It has been closed since the last quarter of 2011.
