The Musée de l'Emigration française au Canada, located in Tourouvre, in the department of Orne and the Normandy region in France, is a place of memory to remind those who (for a large part came from Perche) left their land to settle in Canada. This Perche-Canada Association initiative, supported by the Government of Canada to celebrate the fourth centenary of the beginning of French colonization in Canada in 2004, was implemented in the fall of 2006.
