Miel Vert

Miel Vert is an agricultural fair on Réunion Island, a French overseas department in the southwest Indian Ocean. Held at Plaine des Cafres on Tampon in January each year for a week, it is the main event dedicated to the breeding of Réunions and one of the largest related to local agriculture after the Bras-Panon agricultural fair. It welcomed nearly 220,000 visitors in January 2012. In January 2018, the green honey festival was disrupted by cyclone Ava.
