Shipwreck
The Minerve (visual code S647) is a French diesel-electric attack submarine of the Daphne class (800 tonnes, known as "high performance"). Floated on 19 June 1962, he disappeared body and property with his 52 crew members off Toulon on 27 January 1968. The causes of the loss of the building could not be established in 1968. The discovery of the wreckage in 2019 leads to the conclusion that the wreckage would be due to a sudden ingress of water, caused by damage to the schnorchel, possibly following a collision with a boat.
