Commentry war memorial

The Commentry Dead Monument is located in the Allier department and the Auvergne region. It was created by the sculptor Felix-Alexandre Desruelles. He represents a peasant who discovers in his field the grave of a soldier.

Man collects himself, leaning on a fake. It is inscribed on the monument "The City of Commentry to its child victims of war". This monument can be considered a monument to the pacifist dead.
