musée archéologique du Nivernais
The Nivernais Archaeological Museum is a museum located in Nevers, France. It is located on Rue de la Porte-du-Croux. The museum is housed in the Croux Gate, a medieval tower of the late 14th century. In 1847 it was bought by Baron Denis de Vertpré, who donated it to the municipality at his death, on condition of restoration and the creation of a museum of antiques of Nièvre.
