Museum
musée des métiers de la pierre et de la vie rurale
Located in Saint-Beauzély 15 km from Millau and sheltered in the walls of the château de Saint-Beauzély, this associative museum strives to testify to the past of the commune linked to the extraction of sandstone, to the master builders of the Templar cities (La Couvertoirade, Sainte-Eulalie-de-Cernon and La Cavalerie) as well as to agriculture and rural life. The castle has therefore lived many lives (secondary residence of lords and barons, school run by good sisters (1853-1961), etc.), and is still participating today in the attractiveness of the commune by housing there a museum and the village party room.
