musée du Terroir Marseillais
The Provençal Museum, formerly the Musée du Terroir Marseillais, is a museum of popular arts and traditions located in Château Gombert in the 13th arrondissement of Marseille. It was created in 1927 by Jean-Baptiste Julien-Pignol and is one of the first museums of Art and Popular Traditions in France. It is, after the Arlaten Museum of Arles of which it is considered "the brother", the second ethnographic museum of Provence by the size of its collections.
