The Napoleonic Museum of Aix Island is a French museum located in Île-d'Aix, Charente-Maritime, part of the Napoleonic National Museums. Sharing the label museum of France with the nearby African museum, it houses furniture, weapons, clothing, portraits and various objects evoking the epic and legend of Emperor Napoleon I who stayed in this house from 8 to 15 July 1815 before going to the English and leaving France permanently. The Emperor's House and Gardens have been classified as Historic Monuments since September 24, 1925 for the first and December 17, 1934 for the second.
