mémorial de la Résistance en Vercors
The Vercors is a high place of the Resistance during the Second World War. In July 1944, the Germans launched more than 9,000 soldiers to attack Vercors, costing the lives of 201 civilians and 639 guerrillas. The Memorial of Vercors and the necropolis, in the commune of Vassieux-en-Vercors, preserve the memory of the "tragedy of Vercors".
