The War Memorial in Indochina is located in the territory of the commune of Fréjus, sector Gallieni, in the department of Var, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. It was inaugurated on 16 February 1993 by François Mitterrand, President of the French Republic. The bodies resting in the national necropolis of Fréjus are those of soldiers "Dead for France" who died either between 1940 and 1945, or, in the majority, between 1946 and 1954.
